We have officially changed our consumer brand name to OpenTable. Yes, our name has changed, but everything diners love about toptable is exactly the same. In fact, it’s hard to tell at first glance that anything has actually changed. Diners have the same real time availability at over 4,000 of the best restaurants in the UK, the same super-convenient mobile apps and the same rewarding points programme.
Effective today, visitors will be automatically redirected to our new url opentable.co.uk and mobile users don’t need to fuss with downloading a new app — just a simple app update is required.
With more than 31,000 restaurants worldwide, our goal is for OpenTable to be your global dining passport and a unified brand will make that easier. We’re growing and developing new features for diners at a rapid pace. A unified global brand allows us to develop and deploy these features more quickly in the UK, improving the experience for both diners and our restaurant customers.
Before signing off, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate the legacy of toptable and to toast this exciting new chapter.
