Welcome to the family – New restaurants on toptable

Indian street snacks at Raja Monkey, Birmingham.

Feel like you’re going to same restaurants time after time? Give your favourites a break this month and check out some of the fantastic UK restaurants that have joined toptable recently. There are plenty to choose from but if you need advice, we’re only a tweet away!

BarShu, Soho.

BarShu – If you like Chinese food with a bit of heat, you’ll love the super spicy Sichuan dishes at BarShu. The Frith Street favourite is moments away from Soho’s hottest bars and theatres.

Edwins – Four London publicans have opened a neighbourhood brasserie above The Trinity in Borough. Stop by for steak tartare, rabbit with polenta, and clams and mussels with chilli and garlic.

Boopshi’s – At this buzzy Fitzrovia eatery, brothers Ed and Ben Robson specialise in traditional Austrian schnitzels, signature spritzes and cocktails, and homely Austrian sides and desserts.

Cornish Tiger – This Battersea newcomer uses organic produce from Cornwall to create modern British dishes with a twist. We love the sound of their cumin-rubbed rump of lamb with harissa jus.

Fortnum & Mason St Pancras – If you’re jetting off on the Eurostar or just passing through King’s Cross, treat yourself to breakfast or a light lunch at this brand new outpost of Fortnum & Mason. The all-day dining menu is perfect for a bite on the go and they also serve traditional afternoon tea.

Also new in London: Bones, rotisserie meats and more in Hoxton; Quattro Passi, upmarket Italian in Mayfair; Giovanni Rana, Euston pasta bar; and Big Easy, coming soon to Covent Garden!

Raja Monkey

Lasan – Curry fans rejoice! We’re now taking bookings at this award-winning Indian restaurant that cooked its way to victory on Gordon Ramsay’s F Word and continues to impress local foodies. Book in for an unforgettable Indian feast or try their street food café, Raja Monkey, for a casual dinner.

Fiesta del Asado – Carnivores will love the meaty menu at Birmingham’s first Argentine asado restaurant. Try the Parilla Mixta – a selection of their tasty grilled meats with fresh chimichurri sauce.

Wild Cabaret – Looking for something special in Glasgow? Wild Cabaret is your one-stop shop for fine dining, sophisticated drinking, and live performances from musicians, dancers and aerial artistes.

The Bass & Lobster Foodhouse – Heading to Jersey this summer? Book a table at this popular seafood restaurant where chef Roger White buys fresh fish and hand-dived scallops daily from local fishermen.

CAU – Bringing the best of Buenos Aires to Tunbridge Wells, CAU uses flavour-packed Argentinean beef for their steaks, handmade burgers, and delicious steak sandwiches. If you fancy a lighter meal, try small plates like empanadas and steamed mussels or one of their flatbread pizzas.
