This year’s winner is The Chef’s Table – a dining destination in Chester that fought off stiff competition from some of London’s top culinary hot spots. The restaurant uses the freshest local produce to create a menu of ambitious, creative dishes that change with the seasons. It’s definitely one to add to your foodie bucket list!

The Chef’s Table received their award at last night’s National Restaurant Awards, where Restaurant Magazine revealed the top 100 restaurants in the UK for 2015. Barrafina Adelaide Street took the number one spot this year, followed by The Sportsman in Kent and The Ledbury in London. Nathan Outlaw was voted Chef’s Chef of the Year, while Nuno Mendes’ newest venture Taberna do Mercado was named the One to Watch.
