Taste of Spain: The fiesta returns to Regent Street this weekend

If the sunny weather has got you in the holiday mood, head for Regent  Street this Sunday for A Taste of Spain. From noon until 7pm, a traffic-free zone will  host a carnival-style celebration of Spanish food and culture, with live music, flamenco dancers, giant paellas, football demos and much more. Arrive hungry because there will be plenty to eat and take home!

Near the main stage, at the junction of Regent Street and New Burlington Street, you can try Andalucian specialties like jamon Iberico and refreshing gazpacho. Further up near Air Street, producers from the region of Navarra will be running a medieval food market selling cured meats, cheeses and patés – perfect for weekend picnics.

There will be another mini market near Hanover Street selling Spanish delicacies from Iberica, Barcelona Tapas Bar y Restaurante, and Pinchito Tapas. Finally, don’t miss the ultimate sweet treat – fresh churros and hot chocolate from Churros Bros.

Check out the full programme to find out what’s on and where you can enter competitions to win holidays to Madrid, Segovia, Valencia and the Balearic Islands. If the Spanish flavours leave you wanting more, you can book a meal at one of our top rated Spanish restaurants.
