March is National Noodle Month– a great excuse to ditch your desk lunch and discover some of London’s best noodles. If you’ve already got ramen fatigue, don’t worry – we’ve rounded up delicious noodle dishes from all over Asia and where you can eat them in London.
Pad Thai – Let’s start with a classic: silky rice noodles tossed with egg, tamarind, garlic, prawns, lime and crushed peanuts. You’ll find this popular dish on the menu at most Thai restaurants, but it’s particularly good at OpenTable diner favourites Mango Tree, Kinkao and Sukho. We like the crab and mango topped version at Busaba and the prawn-packed plateful at Soho date spot Patara.

Pho – This wonderful noodle soup, topped with beef and fresh herbs, is the national dish of Vietnam. You can grab a lunchtime bowl in Soho at Pho and House of Ho, or seek it out at neighbourhood gems like Song Que on Kingsland Road, Saigon Saigon in Hammersmith and Café East in Surrey Quays.
