It’s National Chocolate Week! A good excuse – if one were needed – to indulge your sweet tooth with all manner of sweet treats, choc-tails, and dreamy desserts. We’ve rounded up some of this year’s must-try specials.
Treat the chocoholic in your life to this stunning dessert created by The Game Bird’s pastry chef Magdalena Kubańska. Joining the menu just in time for Chocolate Week, the Valrhona chocolate ‘Bounty’ consists of chocolate sponge topped with coconut mousse and accompanied by a refreshing coconut sorbet.
You’ll need both hands to lift this enormous dessert burger, created by chef James Hulme at Paternoster Chop House. Between the choux pastry buns, there’s a chocolate ice-cream ‘burger’, topped with orange icing cheese, white chocolate onion rings, vanilla Chantilly cream mayo, confit orange tomatoes, and raspberry sauce ketchup.
