Are you planning a special Valentine’s Day for someone you adore?  Hoping to make it the romantic highlight of the winter?  Then you’ll definitely want to book one of these restaurants who are pulling out all the stops with special menus and more to make your 14th of February an apex of amour.
The starry palaces of gastronomy are offering some beautiful meals for cupid’s day.  Top diner rated  Homage at The Waldorf Hilton has a classically romantic dining room and a pair of special offers: three courses and a glass of sparkling wine for £25, but also a terrific three courses with matching wines, coffee, petit fours and live piano entertainment  for £79.  Michelin-starred, sophisticated and sexy Seven Park Place by William  Drabble  offers a five-course Valentine’s menu for £105 that will be a culinary delight in every mouthful, and one of you will leave with a rose.
The AA rosetted and top diner rated Grill at The Dorchester is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a five course menu and glass of champagne for £85.  The Montagu overlooking Portman Square goes them one better and names the champers: four courses and a glass of Pommery Rosé Champagne is £50 per person.  And Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester is topping them all with a five-course supper of double Michelin-starred deliciousness including an amuse-bouche and half a bottle of Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial per couple for £155 each. 
If your Valentine’s plans don’t include a classic dinner-with-wine, you should know that the St Pancras Grand has a super breakfast on the day with smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and a glass of champagne for £25 as well as supper deals.  Afternoon tea is the thing at The Tea Cup in Richmond where a classic afternoon plus a glass of rosé champagne is just £32.50 per couple.  At The Grill at the Montcalm, a gorgeous afternoon tea with a glass of rosé champagne is £59 for two people.
Speaking of The Grill at the Montcalm, they’ve thought of absolutely everything you’d need to properly celebrate the Day of Love: a candlelit dinner for two with a sumptuous array of sharing plates, a glass of Jacquart Rosé  Champagne and a bottle of house wine per couple.  And the Platinum Package includes a Bulgari gift bag, all for £149 for two people.
