Savoury cocktails and tea in the City at Prism Brasserie & Bar

This summer, City brasserie Prism has launched some unique Cluedo- themed savoury cocktails and two brand new afternoon tea menus. The limited edition drinks, created by London’s Sipsmith Distillery, include the Colonel Mustard (mustard vodka, honey syrup, pear puree, lemon juice and egg white) and the Bloody Scarlet, Prism’s take on a Bloody Mary with an added kick from the mustard vodka. The refreshing Professor Plum is the non-alcoholic addition to the list, made with fresh plums, raspberries and blueberries.

From June, City slickers can drop in for traditional afternoon tea and  talk business over roast beef and smoked salmon sandwiches, Victoria sponge and profiteroles. The Gentleman’s Tea is a manly twist on the original, including warm salt beef baguettes, homemade Scotch eggs with piccalilli, and rhubarb crumble tart. Both afternoon tea offerings are priced at £19.50 per person or £29.50 including a glass of Champagne.

Chef Dan Sherlock has added two seasonal stunners to the lunch and dinner menus, featuring home-grown herbs and veg. Try the roast rump of lamb with tomato fondue, peas, broad beans and a garlic, rosemary and lemon dressing or the ham hock, pea and broad bean risotto.

Afternoon tea is available Mon-Fri, 12.00-5.30pm, and the savoury cocktails are available during lunch or dinner. Click here to book.
