Our Parisian adventure continues…

On Tuesday evening, toptable hosted a glamorous Champagne and canapé reception for eighty people at the prestigious Pierre au Palais Royal. The restaurant, which is located close to the Louvre and the Tuileries, has stood on the same site for over 60 years so it was the perfect place to spread the word about toptable.

There were lots of restaurateurs, journalists, media companies and financial institutions in attendance, as well as some of our French website users. Most of the guests stayed for dinner afterwards and enjoy some of the restaurant’s finest signature dishes at a 50% discount.

Today, the toptable team took to the streets again – this time around the Gare Saint-Lazare. This huge train station is the second busiest in Paris and handles nearly 300,000 passengers each day so it’s no surprise that our promo materials disappeared in record time.

The team struggled to keep their bags filled up as lots of French foodies stopped to ask questions about the website and the restaurants they can book in France and beyond. It seems that the Parisians love eating out just as much as our UK users and it’s been great meeting them and getting recommendations for undiscovered restaurants all over the city. Stay tuned for more news!
