As we prepare to say farewell to 2019, we are delighted to reveal the Top 100 Restaurants in the UK for 2019. The list is based on over one million reviews written by verified OpenTable diners.
For the second year in a row, the number one spot is claimed by CORE by Clare Smyth. Situated in Notting Hill, this multi-award-winning restaurant champions British ingredients and offers an unforgettable modern fine dining experience.
For the second year running, London holds nine out of ten spots in this year’s top 10, with Birmingham’s Gaijin Sushi making its way into eighth place. While London represents 77% of the list this year, it sees a drop from 81% compared to 2018, as prestigious restaurants from Bristol, Manchester and Newcastle work their way onto the list.
Following from last year, British food (19%) continues to dominate the top 100 above its main competitor, Modern European (12%), as diners look to enjoy tastes from closer to home.
