New to toptable: Voodoo Rooms, Yalla Yalla, 21212 and more…

Last month we added over 80 eateries from across the UK to make sure there’s always somewhere new and exciting for you to try. Here are five of the best to get you in the mood for food:

Yalla Yalla – This cosy café in Soho is serving up tasty Lebanese street food at very reasonable prices. The mezze is great if you like to share and the location (off Brewer St) makes it an ideal pre-theatre pit stop.

21212 – Michelin starred chef Paul Kitching recently opened this new restaurant on Edinburgh’s Royal Terrace. Set in a Georgian townhouse, the dining room provides an elegant backdrop for show-stopping dishes like tender beef fillet with truffled Madeira cream.

The Brill – If you’ve ever struggled to find good food in Kings Cross, you’ll love this laid-back addition to Caledonian Road. With classics like sausage and mash and treacle tart at bargain prices, you can’t go wrong.

Villandry Kitchen – After the success of the original in Fitzrovia, the Villandry team have opened a new all-day bistro and bar in Holborn. Designed with local office types in mind, they’re serving breakfast and French classics like steak frites and Croque Monsieur.

Voodoo Rooms – Part bistro, part 1930s speakeasy; Edinburgh’s Voodoo Rooms are all about glamour and good food. We love the goth-chic décor and the 8oz Voodoo burger with hand-cut fries. There’s an excellent cocktail menu and regular live music and cabaret too.
