Brunch at Le Bouchon Breton

If your budget won’t stretch to Provence this year, why not treat the family to a traditional French brunch in the City? At Le Bouchon Breton in Spitalfields Market, you can relax with a jug of Pimms or Bucks Fizz and feast on their new weekend brunch menu.

Head Chef Olivier Ripert will be serving up classics like eggs Benedict; omelettes; and salmon tartare prepared at the table. Smaller appetites can snack on ‘Le Petit Dejeuner Parisien’ (toasted baguette with butter, ham, coffee and orange juice); while Le Bouchon’s full breakfast is a bargain at £8.95 and great if you’re nursing a hangover.

The brasserie has also updated their dessert menu with familiar favourites like Poire Belle Helene; Tart Tatin; and warm ‘Clafouti’ with brandy soaked prunes and cream. The kids will love the daily changing ice-creams, but Le Coupe Colonel (lemon sorbet with a splash of vodka) is strictly for adults only!
