‘Anything but Pinot Grigio’ wine tasting at Harrison’s – 14th April

As winter finally comes to an end, it’s time to banish those warming whiskies in favour of lighter Spring-time tipples. A glass of chilled white wine perhaps? Or a fruity rosé? Decisions, decisions…

On April 14th, Harrison’s in Balham are hosting a relaxed wine tasting evening hosted by local wine journalist and author, Patricia Langton. She will introduce aspiring wine connoisseurs to lesser known grape varieties, looking at their origins in Europe and the New World. Guests will taste a range of wine styles – white, red, rosé, sparkling and sweet – so that they can make more interesting and informed choices in restaurants, wine bars and shops.

The tasting runs from 7:30pm to 8:30pm and costs £15 per person. It’s open to anyone who likes wine so don’t worry if you don’t know your Beaujolais from your Burgundy! For more info or to book a place, please call 020 8675 6900 or email info@harrisonsbalham.co.uk.

Can’t make it? Why not book a table for dinner instead?
